I’ve travelled to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for training and to rural parts of Australia to work on ESP equipment. I’ve met people from different parts of the world and learnt about different cultures I wouldn’t have experienced otherwise.

The tasks that I undertake and the projects I have been given, have given me a real chance to challenge myself and prove my abilities.

Do not be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. You might be surprised to discover your potential.

A highlight of my role so far was writing the programming behind the new EnviroPunnet sealing machine.

The thing I love most about my job is that I get to work with a diverse range of interesting and passionate people to solve interesting and challenging problems in a variety of domains.

In my current role as trainee area operations manager for Concrete, I have assisted a project manager with two wind farms located near Ballarat.

The feeling of being challenged with a task that has not yet been implemented before and finding a solution is the most rewarding part of my role and one of the coolest things in general in software engineering.
