Justin [00:00:00] So if you think about a new graduate who's just started out and they're in the first couple of weeks, what is the number one tip or best piece of advice that you can give them to really stand out and excel in sort of that first 1 to 2 months?ย

Holly [00:00:13] Very similar to my skill set, which I mean set you up for success ... Be curious, ask questions, seek out those opportunities to expand your knowledge, and don't be afraid to ask Why. Second, build your networks. Meet someone new or interesting every week. Ask them out for a coffee, whether they're a colleague, a manager, or a partner. I can guarantee you that an offer of caffeine is hardly ever turned down. And last but not least, set goals. They don't have to be big and lofty. So I'm going to take some time to understand what success looks like for you in the first couple of months, and check in with yourself and your counselor regularly to make sure that you're on track and finding those ways to really set yourself up for future success.
